The MBC Grants Console is an internal grant-management tool for Master's Bible Church. It uses a Google sign-in only to identify the person using the system and to confirm that the same Google account can access the MBC Grant Team Drive folder.

Information used

Google supplies the account's verified email address and may supply its name and profile image. The console sends Google's short-lived identity token to the MBC Apps Script backend for validation. The token is kept in the browser's local storage until it expires, the user signs out, or site data for this address is cleared. Google identity tokens themselves last about an hour; while the Google account session in this browser remains active, the console may refresh the token quietly so volunteers are not asked to click Sign in every time they reopen the page. On a shared computer, use Sign out when finished.

The console does not request permission to read or modify a user's personal Google Drive. The church-owned Apps Script performs authorized work in the MBC Grants System spreadsheet and its team Drive folders.

How information is used

The email address determines access from the team folder's existing sharing list and is recorded with system changes for accountability. Grant records, drafts, uploaded resources, and activity history are stored in the church's Google Sheets and Drive.

Sharing and retention

The console does not sell personal information. Data is shared only with Google and the hosting services needed to operate the system, and with people whom the church has authorized through the MBC Grant Team folder. Records remain until an authorized system owner archives or removes them under the church's normal records practices.
